Guest Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in visiting our farm! Please follow our guest guidelines to ensure your farm visit is enjoyable, memorable and safe. We look forward to your visit.

Weather and crop readiness are big deciding factors in the days/hours of operation on a farm. Call the Farmer Jones Crop Report (203-929-8425) for daily updates on locations, hours and directions.

Jones Family Farms is a working farm full of New England charm. Part of that charm includes natural paths, fields and walkways. Proper footwear is suggested for all seasons – a hard sole shoe with good treads, closes toe shoes, low heel shoes (sneakers or boots). Wearing heels, wedges, flip-flops and other loose fitting types of shoes is not recommended.

Dogs on leashes are only allowed with guests in the Christmas tree fields during our tree harvest season in late November and December. During our other seasons, please leave your dogs home, as we practice good agricultural practices and cannot have pets in the fields with food products.

Jones Family Farms is private property. The public is invited to visit with us during our retail seasons at the specified retail locations. Walking, fishing, hiking, or other non-approved visits to the farm are not allowed. There are many great spots for hiking and picnics in the towns surrounding the farm. Ask a Jones farmer for information on spots such as Indian Well State Park and the Webb Mountain Discovery Zone.

Jones Family Farms is a non-smoking farm.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Jones Family Farms property other than for tastings and sales in our Winery.

Picnics, tailgating, grilling, birthday parties, etc., or the use of drones are not permitted on Jones Family Farms property or in the parking lots due to safety reasons.

Jones Family Farms is a private business on private property. Please, no outside vendors are allowed without express written permission from the farm. This includes, but is not limited to, photographers, food vendors, etc.
