Do not wash the berries until you are ready to use them. This will keep the protective ‘bloom’ on the berries. Keep the berries in a cool dry place. Blueberries that are kept dry and in the refrigerator can usually keep for approximately two weeks.
Freezing Blueberries
To freeze, place dry berries in freezer bags or cartons.
When frozen, blueberries will pour freely, like marbles.
Wet berries freeze in a clump. It's best not to wash berries before freezing; but if you do, dry them well. You may rinse just before using if you wish.
Frozen berries stay rich in vitamins and flavor for up to 2 years in your freezer.
Pick plenty and enjoy all year long!
